Asian Lantern Festival presented by Meijer

The event’s fourth year, at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, provides options to purchase walk-thru or drive-thru tickets for visitors to experience this limited engagement.

Giant lanterns are new to this year’s event, including a four-story Taj Mahal, and a walk-through Python Tunnel,  Chinese Dragon, and Wisteria Corridor.

Interactive lanterns like the butterfly garden and star pad will allow guests to light up displays themselves.

Live performances play every hour on the Fifth Third Bank Stage featuring acrobats, foot juggling, contortionists, martial arts, and more (walk-through dates only). Throughout the festival, guests can shop an Asian craft market and taste a robust variety of culturally-inspired cuisine, including local favorites Li Wah and  King Wah.
